Brendan “Chip” Barrett

Dr. Barrett joined EcoAnalysts in 2011 as a marine polychaete taxonomist. His primary responsibilities include taxonomic identification of marine invertebrates and freshwater oligochaetes, quality assurance on identified samples, and the development and growth of the internal marine identification standard operating procedures. Prior to EcoAnalysts, Dr. Barrett has worked extensively in the marine bioassessment field for 20 years, including instructing entry level biology courses at the University of Hawaii, providing research assistance to the Bishop Museum in Hawaii, and as a Benthic invertebrate specialist for the Martin Ryan Institute of Galway, Ireland.
