Aquatic Toxicologist, Field Lead
Ms. Brandkamp is a laboratory and field work technician within the EcoAnalysts Port Gamble Ecotoxicology Laboratory. Her field experience includes projects ranging from boat-based and snorkle survey field work to stream and fish monitoring. She was stationed for one year on a remote atoll as principal field technician and laboratory manager, collecting chemical, biological and physical oceanographic data. Currently, she is team lead for the lab’s reference sediment collection projects and assists with dredge and coring field work. Her laboratory duties include performing toxicity tests of water and sediments using invertebrates and fish. These involve organization and test setup, daily maintenance, reference toxicant testing, and data collection. She is also responsible for statistical data analysis and reporting.
