Selected Project Experience

Taxonomic Services: Zooplankton

Minnesota Lakes (2006).
EcoAnalysts processed 36 zooplankton samples for lakes in Washington County, MN as part of a nutrient TMDL. Samples were identified to genus/species and plankton lengths were recorded.

Alaska Zooplankton (2006).
EcoAnalysts processed 32 plankton samples from lakes in the vicinity of a mining project in Alaska. Samples were identified to genus/species and biovolumes were recorded.

Wrangell Lake, Alaska Zooplankton (2004).
EcoAnalysts processed nine plankton samples for a fisheries study in the Wrangell – St. Elias National Park. We enumerated and identified plankton to species-level and calculated biovolume for each sample.

Lake Treatment Effects (2004).
EcoAnalysts identified nine plankton samples from lakes in the San Francisco area as part of a study analyzing the effects of lake treatments. We identified plankton to species-level and calculated biovolumes. We also provided a narrative description of the zooplankton communities describing spatial and temporal trends.

Reservoir Plankton Studies (2004).
EcoAnalysts identified twenty-four zooplankton samples from a reservoir in New Mexico. We identified samples to species level and calculated biovolumes.
