EcoAnalysts posts a new Mystery Macroinvertebrate for you to identify each month. This contest is open to anyone—including macroinvertebrate taxonomy experts. We encourage university entomology departments and their respective professors to link their websites to this page.

The person who emails us their answer with the highest taxonomic resolution will receive a prize and be entered into our winners' circle. Please note that there can be multiple winners. The person who wins the most contests for the year will win a grand prize!
