Ernesto has over 25 years of experience in the environmental science field. His specialties have focused on 316b entrainment and impingement studies, 316a thermal effect surveys, benthic infauna sampling, gut content analysis of fishes, water quality programs, and scientific diving surveys. Ernesto has specialized taxonomic experience in ichthyoplankton, crustacea and zooplankton taxonomic with geographic experience covering California, Gulf of Mexico, Great Lakes, Mississippi River, Florida, Caribbean, South Pacific Sea, North Eastern US and Hawaii. In addition, he has collaborated in national and international programs and assisted with sampling protocols, taxonomic QA/QC, and reporting.
Ernesto likes to spend his spare time with family, do odds and ends around the house, take his son to hockey games and guitar lessons, play guitar and watch movies.
