Invertebrate Taxonomist; Started at EcoAnalysts: 2012
Anndrea, originating from Oklahoma, received a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2005 and then spent the next few years working in aquatic conservation and bioassessment studies for various organizations. She then went on to receive an M.S. in Entomology and Plant Pathology from Oklahoma State University in 2011, which involved the characterization of aquatic invertebrate communities in Oklahoma cattle ponds exposed to regularly prescribed burning and grazing regimes in the cross-timbers eco-region. She adores all things aquatic but fell in love with insects/invertebrates during the completion of her Master’s. In her spare time, Anndrea loves to attend concerts, camp, hike, collecting/pinning insects, volleyball, kitties, and spending time with her daughter.
