Tristan Arrington
Lead Technician/Montana Office

Tristan joined EcoAnalysts in Nov 2005. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Montana State University – Northern and came to Montana State in Bozeman, to study pre-veterinary courses and enjoy the outdoors. Currently, she is the lead technician in the Bozeman office and Research Lab conducting research on the ecology of the invasive New Zealand mudsnail, Potamopyrgus antipodarum. Tristan is also involved with the ecological research of several threatened and endangered mollusks in the Snake River, including metapopulation viability analysis.

Dawn Hamilton
Laboratory Coordinator

In February, 2006, Dawn joined the EcoAnalysts team with over 15 years management experience and a strong background in the natural sciences. Her role consists of three major components. First, she is responsible for the hiring, training processes, scheduling, and personnel development of 20 laboratory sorting technicians. Second, Dawn schedules and monitors the progress of the projects moving through the sorting lab, utilizing tools to survey the progress on a sample, sorter, project, and lab-wide basis. She oversees the sorting process and closely supervises the Quality Assurance/Quality Control protocols that guarantee the level of excellence our clients have come to expect. Finally, she is responsible for the physical aspects of running the sorting lab. These duties include the monitoring of physical environment; ordering supplies necessary for the running of the lab; maintaining lab equipment; and the tracking, storage, handling, and eventual return of all samples to be sorted at EcoAnalysts, including the residues of processed samples and the taxonomic residues.

Dave Langill
Scientific Technician

Dave joined EcoAnalysts in October 2006 as a sorting technician and has since been promoted to take on project development duties as well as attending and exhibiting at conferences. Dave has a solid background in stream and wetland assessment and restoration from his work and volunteer positions in British Columbia , Washington , and Idaho over the past 7 years. His academic background includes a BS in Biology, and an Advanced Certificate in Habitat Restoration. He also has additional training and experience in wetland delineation and analysis, grant proposals and technical publications.

Shanda McGraw
Project Coordinator

Shanda has been with the EcoAnalysts team since May 2000. Shanda was promoted to Project Coordinator in 2005 after serving as our Laboratory Coordinator for over three years. She is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects in our taxonomy laboratories. Shanda has a degree from the University of Idaho in Mathematics Education. Her primary responsibilities are the oversight of day-to-day project activities including maintaining chain of custody records and logging all samples into our laboratories, insuring standard operating procedures for sorting and QA are followed, updating and maintaining database integrity and coordinating personnel and resources to insure projects are done in a timely and cost-effective manner. Shanda is in charge of all hazardous materials shipping, receiving, and compliance as well as all international import and export compliance.

Eric Torok
Human Resources Coordinator

Eric hails from the Midwest, where he spent over 22 years in business leadership. Eric received an Associate of Science degree in Computer Aided Design while living in Ohio, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Indiana University. He is the Human Resources Coordinator and is responsible for recruitment, employee development, and policy and benefits management. Eric is a Professional Life & Business Coach and brings to EcoAnalysts  passion for and extensive experience in the growth and success of individuals within the organization. He believes that for a company to achieve excellence, it must be built upon each employee’s balance between valuable contributions toward the company’s vision and mission, and personal happiness. Eric's Servant Leadership style gives us another way to work toward our vision to be good stewards of our customers' needs, our company's resources, and our environment.
